Mounting types
What types of mounting are there for photovoltaic systems on roofs?
tile roof attachment:
The modules are simply and easily mounted on the tiled roof using roof hooks.
Universal roof attachment:
With all roof coverings where holes can be drilled, the PV modules are fastened with hanger bolts.
Flat roof mounting:
For flat roofs we have our flat roof fasteners in our range. These are attached to the mounting feet on the roof using weighting stones/concrete blocks.
What types of mounting are there for photovoltaic systems on walls/balconies?
Wall and balcony mounting:
Our support rails for wall mounting serve as all-rounders for walls and balconies. The modules can be easily mounted on any surface using clamps and rails.
Stainless Steel Cable Ties:
Stainless steel cable ties are used for our flexible modules. The pre-riveted eyelets can therefore be easily mounted on railings, fences or other facades with holes.

Connection & security
With how many watts is a socket protected?
A standard household socket is protected with 3200W (16 amps). In practice, a 3200W system could be connected. In France, for example, 3000W plug & play balcony power plants are permitted. In Austria 800W and in Germany only 600W are allowed.
Where should the inverter be installed?
All of our inverters have protection class IP65 (waterproof), so outdoor installation is possible. For example, in the 300W solar power plant, the inverter is already installed on the back of the module and is therefore protected. With all other products, you can also attach the inverter to the back of the module or to the attachment.
What is the difference between Schuko plug and RST plug?
Schuko plugs (earthed plugs) and RST plugs (round plug connectors) are common connections for PV systems. Both are IP65 standardized, i.e. waterproof and assembled in Austria. However, the Schuko plug is not desired by every grid operator in Germany as a connection for PV systems, so an RST plug must usually be used and the socket supplied must be installed by an electrician. In Austria, Schuko plugs are usually sufficient.
